We are proud to announce Boston native Jason Maitland as the new head of our culinary team at FIREHOUSE, where he has over 15 years of experience starting as an apprentice at the neighborhood butcher shop and later ascending as a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute. Chef Maitland moved to San Diego to Sous Chef under Carl Shcroeder, where he eventually transitioned to the Executive Chef role at a handful of San Diego’s top restaurants where he has been recognized as “Best Chef” and “Best New Restaurant” and “Best Restaurant” by Ranch & Coast and Riviera Magazine.

CRAFT COCKTAILS

Firehouse is proud to introduce a new cocktail program that accentuates our focus on the use of freshly pressed juices and homemade syrups.

 

 The program was designed based on a traditional cocktail approach with the addition of our own twists to accommodate our beachside environment. As “America’s Finest City” residents, we are privileged to live in the Craft Beer Capital of America and as such we our excited to announce that our draft beer program will pay homage to the great breweries our city has to offer. Lastly, our wine program has been curated to showcase some of our favorite American wineries and to introduce some of the great wines from our neighbor to the south, Baja, Mexico.
